Prostate is a pelvic organ situated at the bladder outlet, with the urethra passing through it. The advancement in imaging technologies allow detection of any areas within the prostate suspicious of cancer by multiparametric MRI. It can also detect any invasion to the surrounding structures and spread to pelvic lymph nodes.
